This may not be the prettiest plate of food but it was an experiment. I wanted to try cooking my eggs inside a pepper. I started by frying (in rice oil) one side of the pepper.. Then flipped it and added my eggs to the centre. It worked really well, was a good 10/15 minutes cooking though. I’d maybe begin frying and then cook the tops under the grill next time.
Either way it’s tasted delicious!! Give it a try and post me your efforts.

Following the JuicePlus conference and gaining more knowledge and understanding on how important vegetables, fruit and berries are in your diet and how unnecessary meat and starchy carbs are (we all know artificial sugars and fats are right?), I have been thinking how much this could drastically improve my heath and wellbeing, and in turn my life.
This has pushed me to follow up something I have been considering for a while, becoming a pescetarian, “one whose diet includes fish but no other meat”. Mainly influenced by a friend who is incredibly fit and healthy; mind, body and soul. This friend also directed me upon an article this evening which was my final decider to take the jump and remove meat from my diet. Please do read it; the topic is regarding conditioning yourself to wake up early, however it covers how since converting to a vegan diet his energy levels maintain and he requires less sleep.
"When I went vegetarian in 1993, I was able to feel well rested with less sleep, and I woke up feeling more alert. Then when I went fully vegan in 1997, there was another improvement."
I should probably go straight to being a vegetarian however I feel after having meat in my diet for such a long time I may struggle to maintain, I don’t quite want to give up eggs or fish for this trail period while my body adapts to the change, however I don’t drink dairy milk already and will happily give up cheese. This will take me up until the new year and then from then on, I hope to take the next step and remove all meats and diary.
Unfortunately as much as I would love to say my reason behind this dietary decision is for the good of the environment, I can’t, it is for the good of myself. I hope this along with my JuicePlus will rapidly make me feel like a new woman, a new woman who will live a longer healthier life.
So like Steve I intend to do a 30 day trial; starting wednesday 28th November 2012. I’ll be sure to keep you updated. Hey, im expecting some weight loss too :)
